Changing lanes – a manifesto

I have decided that for the next year I will be a stay-at-home mom, and if I work it will be on my own terms.

I will no longer allow myself to come across as conflicted about this decision for the sake of social standing or guilt.

I will commit to the education of my son at home as well as my daughter in school.

I will also commit to projects outside of my SAH venture that fill me with joy and help me grow.

Lastly, I will continue my work of making my family’s house a home where all who enter feel cared for, safe and supported.

Again, I will feel no guilt. And I will kick ass.
